An in-depth residency that utilizes the museum's current exhibition as a basis for experience. Use museum visits and on-site workshops as a base experience for classroom work. The residency includes in-school and on-site workshops, museum visits, professional development for teachers and concludes with a culminating exhibit of student work at the museum. Space is limited and applications are required.

Music Unites' philanthropic focus for its first year will be to bring live performances to New York City public schoolchildren through a partnership with the Young Audiences New York. Music Unites will team with Young Audiences New York to provide performances and workshops which will bring renowned guest artists to visit and perform in the public schools. Young Audiences New York is proud to partner with Community Word Project, the leading teaching artist training organization in the country. The Community Word Project partnership will offer teaching artists the opportunity to receive supplemental training to improve skills, peer connections and identify new and innovative teaching methods all of which support the strength of programming that is offered by Young Audiences New York.
