The Donna Salvatore Fund for Storytelling touches the lives of thousands of public school children across New York City. Our teaching artists use storytelling as a catalyst to develop the cognitive, social and physical skills that improve academic performance and ultimately change how students feel about learning.
Three out of five public schools don’t employ an in-house arts or music teacher. The Donna Salvatore Fund provides schools with the resources to make a lasting impact in a child’s life. Whether through a 45 minute storytelling performance or multi-week residency, our programming ensures that students receive in-depth learning experiences that demonstrably improve their academic experience and personal well-being.
Every gift counts in providing tangible support for children in our 125 partner schools across the city.
