We fulfill our mission primarily through Residencies. Our professional teaching artists “reside” at schools and community centers engaging students in various art making processes. A typical art residency is made up of ten to twelve workshops.

 

Each year YANY leads more than 200 residencies in 47 schools across New York City. Over 50,000 students engage in innovative arts learning experiences.
