Born and raised in Mexico City, Miss Alda comes from a family of artist that celebrate the vasculature and traditions of the World. Being exposed to different cultures an early age she developed a lasting interest in the Performing Arts. Dancer, Percussionist, Storyteller, Teaching Artist, Miss Alda creates a productive environment that encourages all participants to feel engaged and important, this has been a vital part of her teaching and performing philosophy valued by many Arts Organizations. “My mission is to engage students and audiences and give them a resource to become advocates for dance, music, culture and Art in general and understand that the connections to this Art forms strengthen a sense of community.
